Made of all-forged American-made steel, the tool is very tough &amp; holds a sharp edge well. It is a great tool for working in the building &amp; construction trades, &amp; also for landscaping yard work, but it is also great for camping use. One can get enough leverage to hack small logs &amp; wood into pieces, &amp; it also works great for pounding tent stakes into the ground. A very nice &amp; durable multi-purpose tool!
